The sounds of gunfire echo through Kyiv as night falls. Some are calling it the beginning of the Battle of Kyiv, and from this angle it definitely sounds like a battle has truly begun.

At this time, the footage coming out of Kyiv is sparse. This footage was recorded by a civilian living in an upper-level apartment located towards the city center in Kyiv. We will continue to update you on the situation in Kyiv as updates become available.
