A series of airstrikes against targets in Syria has been released by Russian pilots forward deployed in support of Russian interests and the Assad regime. It's unclear exactly where all of these airstrikes took place as the only context released by Russian forces was that the strikes took place in Syria throughout the month of January. Imagine being a Russian pilot while the war in Ukraine is going on, and you're deployed to bomb Free Syrian Army fighters for the Assad regime.
