Russian Air Defense Gets Deleted By HIMARS or M270

This footage, provided by a Ukrainian recon/spotter drone, shows a Russian air defense emplacement being targeted and summarily destroyed by a HIMARS/M270 launch.


This Transport, Launcher and Radar (TLAR) system shown in Zaporizhzia in April 2024, is part of the TOR missile system used by Russia as a low-to-medium altitude, short range anti-aircraft setup. Its NATO reporting name is SA-15, or "Gauntlet."


Or, was . Now its reporting name is "Smudge", courtesy of the US-provided HIMARS or M270 Multiple Rocket Launch Systems. The main difference between the two is whether the carrying system is wheeled or tracked, and in either case the end result is the same for this TLAR.
