Cluster Munitions Destroy Russian Convoy

A Russian convoy of motorized troops is destroyed by cluster munitions fired by Ukrainian artillery adjusted by drone observers. The trucks are strung out long the roadside near Verbove, a contested settlement on the southeastern shoulder of the Ukrainian salient in Zaporizhia. What looks like an HE adjustment round lands near the convoy, followed by a fire-for-effect of DPICM munitions. The troops scatter or are cut down, and at least one of the trucks bursts into flames.

One wonders if these might be troops from the 76th Guards Air Assault Division shifted south to shore up Russian defenses in Zaporizhia. Whatever their unit, continuing actions during security halts have much to be desired. One would think that, when moving within range of enemy artillery, that it might be prudent to deploy camouflage during halts of more than five minutes, or perhaps move only at night, or disperse vehicles within a convoy, or park beneath trees, or do something other than sit along the side of the road.
