An Estonia Police Officer made a split second throw which brought a reckless drunk driver to a halt.

Officers in the local area had multiple reports of a reckless driver weaving in and out of traffic. After avoiding a traffic stop, Officers set up position to spike the vehicles tires.

As the suspect driver approaches the checkpoint, the driver squeezes his vehicle through the police cruiser and a civilian vehicle at incredible speeds. The vehicle heading toward the shoulder of the road was not enough to avoid this Officer.

The Officer takes one precise lunge toward the oncoming vehicle, throwing the spike strip perfectly into the wheels of the reckless driver.

The suspects vehicle then creeped to a halt, where Officers were able to arrest the suspect. Reports state that alcohol played a key role in this incident.
