PDF Ambushes Myanmar Army in Natogyi, Mandalay

This footage shows a local PDF militia unit attacking the pro-Junta Myanmar army in Natogyi, which is in the Mandalay region of Myanmar. “PDF” or People’s Defense Force” refers to anti-Junta guerilla/self-defense units that operate around the areas in which the members live.

As compared to other PDF units or ethnic militias such as the Karen National Army, footage from Natogyi is fairly rare. As here, the Natogyi PDF has been conducting ambushes and drone strikes over the last year. In this video, we see them attacking a distant military convoy with a variety of machine guns, small arms, and mortars. However, at the range shown in the video, they probably have little luck with the rifles.
