Cell phone video released to TikTok by a member of the Somalian Army shows a Somali commander taking a casual pause in the middle of an intense firefight to radio his enemy.

According to the comments, the Somali commander is directly speaking with the leader of Al-Shabaab militants who they are currently engaged with. According to their loose translation, he is telling them that he has captured their wounded and recovered their dead. This radio transmission was allegedly a courtesy call to give them a chance to end the fighting so that they could recover their dead and wounded, which is something Shabaab militants take very serious.

The outcome of this radio call is however still unknown.
