One Year of Afghan Combat with the Aussies in Nine Minutes

Members of 6th Battalion, Royal Australian Regiment, referred to as 6 RAR for the remainder of this article, spend 2009 and 2010 combatting Taliban fighters in Afghanistan. This is their story.

Australia is one of those countries that is often over-looked and under-represented when you look back at the Global War on Terror. They took part in many operations, covered down on many points of friction, and overall did a bang-up job with every task they were asked to complete. This video, filmed in 2009 and 2019 by members of 6 RAR, shows just nine total minutes of their contribution to Operation Enduring Freedom, dubbed Operation Slipper for them.

To all our Aussie followers, and I know there are a lot of you, we see you guys, and we appreciate everything you all did.
