(NSFW) WWII Rifle Captured In Deadly Trench Battle

Ukrainian Infantrymen of Azov's 3rd Assault Brigade record themselves systematically clearing trenches and killing Russian soldiers at close range. Following the battle, the Ukrainians are consolidating captured Russian equipment when they discover a WWII-era Soviet 7.62x54mm Mosin Nagant bolt action rifle. The archaic weapon has the potential to be modified into a practical squad designated marksman rifle, although it is not fitted with an optic. It's not clear exactly why the rifle was being used in a forward fighting position.

Another interesting point to note in the footage is the Azov fighters trading thrown hand grenades with the Russians. One of the Russian grenades lands close to the cameraman and detonates. He receives a fragmentation injury to his arm. He rapidly relocates to a different trench and immediately applies his tourniquet, although he doesn't appear to tighten it as there is no apparent arterial bleeding.
