GoPro footage from an Su-25 pilot conducting combat operations in Eastern Ukraine shows a low and slow attack run using unguided rockets against Russian positions.

According to the source, the Su-25 was firing 122mm unguided rockets at Russian positions. Air support missions like this are generally conducted by getting a heading and range towards the target, and then doing some fast cockpit math to generate the angle required to hit the target at the specified range using the max ordinance of the rocket.

It's also worth noting that the above is a guess on my end, as this is how I would be doing it. There could be another system on board that does all of the calculations for the pilot. I'm not an Su-25 certified combat pilot. I'm a blogger who used to shoot machine guns at the Taliban.
