(NSFW) Ukrainian Snipers Hunt Russian Sappers in Woods, Kupyansk

This scope footage from the perspective of a Ukrainian Special Forces element shows Russian sapper troops being taken down by sniper fire. While details, as far as which units are being fielded here, are scant, we can at least surmise that the Ukrainians here have little compunction toward “confirming kills,” as they are shown putting several rounds into already downed foes. While Russia trains its SF units to operate very well at night, this emphasis does not tend to extend to non-SF units. Being a conventional sapper, hunted in the forest by enemy SF who can both see and move better than you, is probably as close to nightmare scenario as it gets.
