GoPro footage released by Ukrainian sources captures the moment a drone dropped munition impacts next to a small group of Ukrainian Soldiers trying to conduct a litter evacuation of one of their teammates. According to the source of the footage, both Soldiers were lightly wounded in the attack, but were able to recover and finish their evacuation of the Soldier who was in the litter.

Inevitably, every time this subject comes up showing Ukrainians being hit by a drone dropped munition while conducting a medevac, we have to explain this. If troops on the ground are armed, they are combatants, end of discussion. It is not a war crime to target armed troops even if they are operating in an aid and litter capacity. The troops only become non-combatants if they are clearly marked with medical symbols and are entirely unarmed.
