Helmet Cam: Sheikh Mansur Battalion Ambush Extended

Published 6 months ago

Yesterday we released footage of the Sheikh Mansur Battalion ambushing a group of Russian Soldiers. This video, which is a helmet cam perspective, is from that same ambush.

This is an interesting perspective into the ambush we saw yesterday. The original footage, which was recorded in portrait mode by one of the fighters, showed them lobbing RPGs into the Russian forces. This video, which is from the exact same ambush, shows the fighters moving into their ambush positions, and initiating the attack. It also clearly shows that these guys are experienced fighters who coordinated their ambush before executing it.

If you're unfamiliar with the Sheikh Mansur Battalion, check out this post written by my co-writer Austin Saucino. He gives a little bit of insight into who these guys are, which will explain why you're hearing the religious nasheed at the beginning of this video.
