Graphic footage shows a Ukrainian FPV loitering munition making a direct hit on a Russian soldier, resulting in an immediate death. The drone can be briefly seen approaching its target, but is momentarily hung up on a tree branch. Impressively, the drone operator is able to regain control of the device and accelerates it toward the Russian, at which point the device is detonated.

Drones continue to be the weapon of choice for Ukrainian troops as it allows them to strike Russians at any time and location near the front. For whatever reason, the Russian forces have done little to mitigate the drone threat.
