Homemade Artillery Cannon Employed in Myanmar

Video from Sagaing shows a homemade artillery cannon being employed against military forces in Myanmar. This weapon system has been dubbed the SG-2 Mk-2 by the Anti-Junta forces who made it.

The Civil War in Myanmar is criminally under-reported in my opinion. Just this week 160 civilians were killed in an airstrike by the government. I'm not going to post it here, but if you look for "Airstrike Kanbalu Sagaing" you'll find some rather disturbing images of a burnt out village and children literally split in half by an air raid that had nearly nothing to do with their village.

This video shows an artillery piece made by Anti-Junta fighters in the Myanmar region. This is just one of the homemade weapon systems that the resistance fighters have been using. On top of this, further research into the area will you that they've armed literally an entire small military with nothing more than a 3D printer and hand-loaded ammunition.

If Ukraine weren't happening, Myanmar would be the current center of attention in conflict reporting. Unfortunately, it's entirely overlooked due to a larger conflict happening in a European country.
