Anti-Junta Forces in Myanmar Adopt Ukrainian Tactics

Anti-Junta rebel fighters in Myanmar are now adopting and adapting the techniques they've seen by the Ukrainian military to strike out against Myanmar's military. War will never look the same again.

In 1884, Hiram Maxim invented a firearm capable of firing hundreds of rounds per minute. From that point forward the course of the world changed. Machineguns changed the face of war dramatically, and almost every major battle in the first World War was decided by the effective employment of these weapon systems.

In the early 2000's, quadcopters became commonplace and drone operations hit the commercial market. Out of nowhere everyone with a few hundred dollars was capable of purchasing a remote operated drone. In Syria, members of the Free Syrian Army and the Islamic State used those quadcopters for reconnaissance. Later, they weaponized them, but their funds were limited and so too was the use of those drone on those battlefields.

Today, the Ukrainians have nearly an unlimited budget from NATO tax payers to fight their war, and one of the weapon systems they've adopted and adapted to fight the Russians is the commercial drone. They've seen widespread use there, and have been incredibly effective at dictating the way the battles must be fought.

Now those same commercial drones are popping up on battlefields around the world. This video shows a guy without shoes disabled a naval vessel from Myanmar's Navy with nothing but a rifle grenade and a commercial drone.

If war fighting colleges don't already have a solution to this problem, the next war is going to be very bad.
