Higher resolution video of yesterday's suspected Russian Su-30 shootdown has just been released. This video confirms earlier reports of the aircraft being brought down by a Ukrainian MANPAD team.

Yesterday, footage was released showing what appeared to be Russian Su-30 being shot down by a Ukrainian MANPAD team. Today, the Ukrainians have released higher resolution footage of that same incident showing the same aircraft catching on fire and crashing to the Earth.

According to Ukrainian sources, this Su-30 was brought down near Kharkiv.
