Footage from a failed mid-January 2023 Russian armored vehicle assault in the vicinity of Vodyane, Donetsk shows several Russian military vehicles being destroyed. Among the wreckage were BMP infantry fighting vehicles, a bridging vehicle, and multiple others. The Ukrainian defenders used anti tank guided missiles, artillery, and anti tank guns to thwart the Russian advance.
