This Hezbollah-released footage depicts militants targeting and firing a guided rocket system at an IDF position near the Lebanon border. As of 10/20/23, Israel has confirmed that one IDF sergeant was KIA, with another two wounded (not pictured here).

The lack of concealment on the IDF's part, in conjunction with apparently little in terms of perimeter security may have contributed to Hezbollah's success here. Close to the Lebanon border, it's rather surprising that these soldiers, Reservists or not, were neither watching nor assuming they were being watched themselves.
