This IDF-provided footage shows Hamas combatants fighting from Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza. The video coincides with a major IDF raid on the area in the early hours of 18 March, 2024.

Drone footage from above shows Hamas moving and firing within the hospital before transitioning to an IDF vehicle column at 0:08, which encounters an IED to their left, detonated by the fighters. Thereafter, drone footage continues to show Hamas fighting from Al-Shifa. There is continuing outcry regarding IDF attacking hospitals and humanitarian centers, and in some cases these certainly warrant investigation, such as the recent incident involving a flour convoy. However, the instances of Hamas instigating by using these population centers as shields and/or provocation continue to be well-documented and observed.
