Instead of playing the long game by burying anti tank mines and waiting for the Russians t come to them, Ukrainian troops loaded up powerful TM-62 anti tank mines onto a drone and delivered them directly to Russian fighting positions.

An unmodified mine wouldn't reliably detonate by dropping it on its own, so it it's likely that the mines are rigged with some sort of improvised point detonating fuse system that ensures it will burst regardless of how it lands. The mine itself is considerably more powerful than many of the hand grenades and munitions normally dropped by Ukrainian drone pilots.
