Russian "Cope Cage" Ineffective Against Drone Munition

Footage from the Ukrainian 72nd Mechanized Brigade shows a drone dropped munition operation against a Russian BMP fighting vehicle in the vicinity of Nikolske, in Ukraine's eastern Donetsk region.

The BMP can be seen wearing a "cope cage" which is an improvised top cover meant to intercept Javelin missiles and other incoming projectiles. The device has been consistently ineffective in preventing vehicle damage and destruction since their introduction.
