CCTV footage released by civilians in Nova Kakhovka shows a small group of Russian Soldiers breaking into civilian vehicles.

It's worth noting that there's at least a half-dozen legitimate military reasons that these troops could be breaking into this vehicles. If there is reasonable suspicion by the Russian troops that these vehicles are concealing items that could be considered a military threat to their unit's presence, then they have the right to break into the vehicles to clear that threat to protect themselves.

That said, it's more likely that the Russians are outright stealing these vehicles to augment their own dwindling supply of military vehicles. Simply put. the Ukrainians are less likely to destroy a civilian with Russian troops inside of it than they are a standard issue Russian logistics truck. While it's purely a guess on my part, my bet is that they're commandeering these vehicles for their own use.
