Azov Battalion Uses Commercial Drones to Gather Intelligence

Members of the Ukrainian Azov Battalion utilize a commercial drone to survey Russian troops movements in the Mariupol region. This type of footage is becoming more prominent by the hour.

As the days continue to go by, more and more footage recorded by commercial drones is being published on the internet. A majority of that footage is being published by independent pilots, but some of it is also being published by Ukrainians on the front-lines. The footage above was recorded by the controversial organization known as the Azov Battalion.

Since 2015, I have written at least 50 articles talking about how drones would be the future of warfare. Throughout Syria and the Islamic State Crisis, we saw commercial drones being used in a number of capacities that weaponized them and made them effective weapons of war. In all of that time, I have been saying that in future wars, modern militaries need a means of combatting the threat commercial drones pose to troops on the battlefield.

Russia apparently doesn't read Funker530.
