An Apache pilot spots two Taliban fighters emplacing an IED. While he waits to get clearance from higher to open fire on the IED team, the IED detonates prematurely.

Imagine being this Apache pilot. You're sitting there with positive ID waiting on the desk jockeys to give you clearance to fire, knowing damn well that you have both a hostile act and hostile intent from the targets on the ground, when suddenly all of your fun gets taken away because of the target's inability to bury a homemade bomb without blowing themselves up.

For the purpose of context, this footage was recorded in Afghanistan. The pilot is an American. The enemy IED team on the ground are members of the Taliban.
