Apache Casually Shreds Iraqi Army

Guntape footage from either Desert Storm in 1991 or Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003 shows an Apache Attack Helicopter casually shredding the Iraqi Army. The exact date that this footage was recorded is currently unknown.

Two things, first you'll notice that I've archived this footage as History and not Combat. That's because regardless if this footage was filmed in 1991 or 2003, this part of the Iraqi Army is absolutely a piece of history that we will never see again. Second, where I found this video it was listed as footage from Operation Iraqi Freedom, but I don't think that's the case and I'll tell you why.

The heads-up display and recording of the Apache shows an older era TADS gunsight. This is does not line up with footage you would find coming from an apache in the earlier stages of Operation Iraqi Freedom, and instead aligns with the style of footage you wind from an early model Apache during Operation Desert Storm.

That said, I am not one hundred percent certain that is the case, so I'm listing this as an either or. If anyone else has anything to add to that, please feel free to do so down in the comments and I'll pin you up to the top.
