A video from the war in Afghanistan, Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF), shows US ground troops recording an AC-130 strike operation and then going to investigate the aftermath the following day.

The AC-130, and its continually updated variants; Spooky, Spectre, Ghostrider... is legendary. At some point, someone said, "Instead of putting this ancient cargo plane in a museum where it belongs... let's outfit it with maximum firepower instead."

The AC-130 Ghostrider literally flies circles around its target while pounding it with 30mm and 105mm cannons, AGM-176A Griffin missiles, possibly Hellfire missiles and GBU-39 Small Diameter Bombs, and rumor has it... high-energy lasers. Get Wrecked.
