Ukrainian troops recorded themselves shooting down a Iranian-made Russian "Shahed" long range loitering mu inion with a 9K38 Igla man portable air defense system (MANPADS).

The Ukrainians have reportedly modified the older Igla system with thermal optics in order to better detect and track enemy aerial weapons. Based on the footage, the shoot-down attempt was successful.
