Footage coming out of Ukraine showcases what appears to be a Mitsubishi pickup truck that has been heavily modified to fire an MLRS system out of the bed.

We see this happening in almost every modern conflict. As time draws out and supplies dwindle, the troops on the deck start to improvise weapon systems out of civilian equipment. Technical vehicles are far from a new concept, but in Syria we saw the Free Syrian Army utilizing a large number of heavily modified pickup trucks and sports utility vehicles to take the fight directly to the Syrian Arab Army. Now we're seeing this in Ukraine as well.

This is most likely a one-off situation, but it could also be an indicator that the Ukrainian Military is starting to falter on supplies and equipment. Only time will really give us the answer, but I suspect we will see Ukraine continue to fight with whatever they can modify into a weapon system for the foreseeable future.
