Ukrainians Maneuver Directly into Russian Ambush

POV footage released from a Ukrainian Soldier captures the moment the Ukrainian forces are ambushed by Russian troops. They dismount from their vehicles and maneuver directly towards the contact.

It might not look like it, but this is one of the two correct responses to being ambushed. From the video, you can see that the Ukrainians are maneuvering directly towards Russian forces here while simultaneously calling for fire from an adjacent artillery unit to gain fire superiority. This is the aggressive but correct response because it's the exact opposite of what your enemy wants and expects you to do during an ambush.

Had the Ukrainians froze up and not maneuvered they would have died. Had they retreated, they probably would have given up fire superiority and died. Instead, they chose to push forward towards the enemy while getting a hasty danger close fire mission running in support of their maneuver. It's a crappy scenario to be in all-together, but war is always full of bad scenarios.
