A fire-team sized group of Ukrainian troops conduct harassing fires against Russian positions using rocket-propelled grenades. After firing they quickly displace to a position of safety.

Unfortunately, the perspective of this video is a bit low on the Soldier's chest. As a result, we can't clearly see the target. Allegedly, the Ukrainians are engaging a Russian defensive line with harassing fire. The objective with this type of attack is to inflict casualties and decrease the morale of the defenders which makes their positions easier to assault in the future.

On top of weakening the posture of the positions, sustained harassing fire like this combined with the harassing fire of commercial drones makes it extremely difficult for Russian defenders to get into a rhythm with daily combat operations. Overall, harassing fires like this make it near impossible for the Russians to build better conditions to go on the offense.

Essentially, the this type of harassing fire is used to maintain the fighting initiative as Russian troops are unable to recover and regain a proper footing.
