Ukraine's New Mi-35 "Hind" In Action Against Russian Forces

A Mi-35 Hind (export version of Soviet Mi-24) was given by the Czech Republic to the Ukrainian military and can be seen firing rockets toward Russian positions.

Due to the threat of air defenses, both Russia and Ukraine are regularly using a rocket loft/dump technique in which multiple rockets are fired from far distances using a calculated angle. The technique is much less accurate than direct engagement but significantly increases the survivability of the aircraft.
