Ukraine's 3rd Assault Brigade Fights For Avdiivka Before The Withdrawal

This helmet-cam footage, provided by Ukraine's 3rd Assault Brigade, records some of the fighting for Avdiivka before Ukrainian forces withdrew from the region last week. The footage shows members of 3AB fighting from a building, which is under heavy attack by Russian forces.

The video begins as the squad disembarks from an APC and moves into a building, which comes under attack at approximately 39 seconds in. The soldiers are shown firing from the corners of windows and loopholes.

At 01:19, we ee the cameraman, ostensibly the squad's machine gunner, putting rounds down the street outside. He appears to hit two Russian soldiers who are running perpendicular to his line of fire.

At 01:29, we see the footage pick up after the building has been shelled, with the Ukrainians extricating themselves. They lift and move the shattered sections of concrete to free their squadmate.
