A group of insurgents decide to take the fight to the Riverine forces operating on the Euphrates. It was the biggest, and probably last mistake mistake of their lives.

In a firefight, the answer to all you problems lays within fire superiority. If you have it, there's a good chance you will win the firefight. If you don't have it, or can't maintain it, then there's a good chance you'll be on the losing end of the firefight.

The cool thing about this video, is it's footage taken from small crafts in Iraq. Believe it or not, there are several main rivers that need to be controlled in order for any operating force to control ground operations inside of Iraq. As a result of this, Riverine forces were deployed by the U.S. Marines, U.S. Coast Guard, and U.S. Navy throughout the entirety of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

While there exists tons of footage of combat on the ground in Iraq, this is one of only two videos I know of that shows the Riverine force in contact with AQI.
