Russian Missiles Take Out Ukrainian Helicopters and Hangar

This video footage shows a Russian missile attack on Ukrainian helicopters on the ground, as well as a follow-up attack on their support facilities, which the Russian forces located by following trucks and ground vehicles.

The incident has been geolocated to have occured in Novopavlivka, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, Ukraine at the following coordinates: 48.164503, 36.819532. This information places the attack about 55 km (34 mi) from the known frontlines.


Three Mi-17 (NATO Identifier: Hip) helicopters are spotted on the ground by a Russian drone. At a later point, only two Mi-17s are visible, and these are directly attacked and destroyed by Russian missiles.


At 0:41, troops can be seen loading into a support truck. It has been reported that this truck was followed to the hangar and support buildings for the helicopters, which is where a second observation drone's feed picks up at 0:44. It, too, is destroyed.
