Russian Aircraft Smoked By Double Ukrainian Surface-To-Air Missiles

Footage reportedly shows an as-of-yet unidentified Russian aircraft being hit and destroyed by two Ukrainian surface-to-air missiles (SAM) over Kharkiv on Mar. 6, 2022.

The footage may be a second angle of the incident we previously posted. Recorded on CCTV, multiple explosions can be seen on the horizon, possibly MLRS impacts or ordnance delivered by the plane that is about to be shot down.

The actual aircraft cannot be seen in the video, but two surface-to-air missiles fired from Ukrainian mobile air defense vehicles brightly streak up toward and hit the aircraft. Both missiles hit their mark, and the second one causes a massive mid-air explosion, likely detonating whatever bombs remained onboard the targeted aircraft.

An analysis of the wreckage, which has yet to be conducted, but would give further details of the aircraft type that was destroyed.
