Russia Unveils "F-35 Killer" Light Fighter Jet

At the annual MAKS air show, Russia unveiled it's new 5th Generation prototype light fighter jet, which is being touted as the "F-35 Killer."

US intelligence officials had already nicknamed the single-engine fighter the "Screamer," although its first demo flight isn't scheduled until 2023 and won't enter into official service until sometime around 2026.

It is speculated that Russia will produce at least 300 Screamer variants for foreign sales with an approximate price tag of $25-$30 million a piece. Possible foreign customers may include UAE, India, Vietnam, and Argentina.
