Extremely graphic and grim footage shows a Russian soldier sustaining severe injuries to his lower extremities following a drone dropped munition attack. Following the strike, he struggles on the ground for several minutes with no one coming to his aid.

Prior to the strike, however, the fated soldier can be seen lying on the ground with a fellow Russian soldier attempting to get him to his feet. For whatever reason, possibly already wounded or psychologically broken, the soldier refuses to be helped.

His buddy then senses the incoming drones and retreats to a subterranean defensive position. The quadcopter drone drops a grenade onto the legs of the man who ignores the threat. The blast mangles his legs with life-threatening injuries.

The incident reportedly occurred on the Robotyne front in Ukraine's southern Zaporizhzhia region. The area was a hotspot for kinetic activity during Ukraine's fas;ed summer offensive, but has since devolved into a quagmire of trench warfare standoff engagements.
