Brutal scenes of trench warfare recorded on the GoPro of a Ukrainian infantryman shows an advance through Russian trenches. The dead Russians are still in place as they maneuver past them.

The only thing we know for sure about this video is that it was filmed near Bakhmut during a recent advance against Russian forces.

There are no poetic ways to put this. This is a type of warfare that the world has not seen since the early 1900s. Keep this in mind the next time you think you might agree with some random millionaire political influencer on Twitter saying that America should do another Civil War because we disagree with each other on some petty topics. Think about this exact video the next time you hear a politician saying we should send troops off to war in some far away land again.
