Footage recorded by Russian troops operating the UR-77 Meteorit in Mariupol shows a line charge being fired through a residential area during combat operations against Ukrainian forces.

This is the first time I've seen a mine clearance vehicle used in this capacity. Offensively, the Russians are able to pack all of the explosives from the line charge into the end and fire off the rope charge in a similar fashion as any other indirect fire weapon system. The larger shockwave caused by this explosion is a result of the line charge's explosives being packed into part of the weapon system.

The only other time this maneuver has been conducted prior to Mariupol was during urban combat operations against the Free Syrian Army during Russia's combat operations supporting the Assad Regime.
