M67 Hand Grenade Knocks Out Russian T-80 Tank

High definition footage shows an American-made M67 hand grenade being dropped with precision by a Ukrainian quadcopter drone into the drivers hatch of a Russian T-80BVM main battle tank.

The tank appears to have been abandoned after striking land mines as the tank's tracks can be seen thrown from their wheels. Although out of service, the tank was likely recoverable and reparable by Russian forces, and that is why the Ukrainians called in the drone.

The blast of the powerful hand grenade within the drivers compartment would have caused added significant mechanical damage, and the resulting fire and unverified explosive cook off would have permanently taken the tank out of commission.
