Israeli Soldier Employs MATADOR Rocket in Khan Yunis

Cell phone footage recorded by an Israeli Soldier and released through unofficial channels shows the MATADOR rocket being utilized against Hamas fighters in a gunfight in Khan Yunis. The footage was recorded on March 19, 2024.


The man-portable, anti-tank, anti-door rocket 90-millimetre fire and forget weapon system developed by Germany, Israel and Singapore. On top of being one of the lightest rockets of it's type, it also boasts a significantly reduced backblast area, enabling it to be used in more confined spaces than other rockets of the same type and style.
