A Russian munitions storage facility unoccupied Luhansk was reportedly struck by the Ukrainian armed forces resulting in a massive explosion and several secondary blasts.

The incident reportedly took place in Sorokyne (also known as Krasnodon) in eastern Ukraine's Luhansk region on Sep. 26, 2023. The Russians had reportedly been stockpiling munitions there since the 2014 invasion.

The strike occurred more than 120km behind the front lines, suggesting that an advanced weapon system, possibly a cruise missile, was used in the targeting operation.
