A piece of flying shrapnel from a large Islamic State car bomb nearly takes out a cameraman. The only thing standing between this man and death was several inches of up-armored humvee.

War is chaos. At any second, your life can be permanently altered or ended and there is nothing you can do about it. In that same thought process however, you can have extremely lucky moments where you just know that if you had moved one step to your left or right, you would have died. I think everyone who has been in combat has had, or knows someone they are close to who has had a moment just like this one.
