Flakpanzer Gepard Shoots Down Russian cruise Missile In Ukraine

Footage shows a German-delivered Flakpanzer Gepard shooting down an incoming Russian cruise missile over Ukraine.

The Flugabwehrkanonenpanzer Gepard (anti-aircraft-gun tank 'Cheetah') uses two 35mm autocannons that have a combined fire rate of 1,100 rounds per minute. The system uses radar to track and engage targets.

The Russians launched a massive barrage of missiles into Ukraine following an, as-of-yet, undetermined attack on two Russian military airfields several hundred kilometers into Russia. Ukraine claims most of the missiles were shot down.
