Drone video shows the Georgian Legion, volunteers fighting on behalf of Ukraine, carrying out a textbook tank assault with infantry support against a Russian trench position which results in the retreat of the enemy.

The infantry troops enter the area riding on top of the tank. Modern anti tank weapons, which can be accurately fired from multiple kilometers away have made this a risky procedure, but it beats walking. They dismount once in range of the target trench and walk behind the tank, using it as cover as they cross the open ground while also protecting its flanks from possible near ambushes.

Once they reach the target objective the roles are reversed. The tank now supports the infantry units as they assault into the trenches to clear out any remaining Russian defenders.
