China Launches 3 Spy Satellites Into Orbit

China reported the successful launch of a Long March-2C rocket system which put a group of three Yaogan-30 remote sensing satellites into orbit on Jun. 18, 2021.

In addition to the three spy satellites, the launch vehicle also carried a Tianqi-14 satellite for Chinese tech firm Beijing Guodian Gaoke Technogloy Co, Ltd. The launch took place at Xichang Satellite Launch Center, Sichuan Province, in southwest China.
