Bored Soldiers Play with Taser - Hilarity Ensues

Published Nov. 21, 2021

Soldiers on deployment find themselves with a bit of downtime in between missions, and access to an X-26 Taser system. They do exactly what you think a bored Soldier would do in their shoes.

When boredom strikes and members of the U.S. Military are involved, the only thing we can hope is that there is nothing around for them to hurt themselves with. I have seen dudes in the field literally throw ka-bars at each others feet out of boredom, and that's not even close to as dangerous as the boredom can get. Leaders, if you know your troops are going to be bored for a long period of time, try to make sure you isolate them in an area where they have access to nothing but a pile of rocks and their helmets. They'll find a semi-safe way to throw the rocks into the helmets, and your medics won't need to be on stand-by to treat any injuries.
