Members of Al Qaeda in Iraq get spotted employing an anti-aircraft gun against coalition forces in Iraq when they are spotted by overhead drone. Being spotted was the last mistake of their lives.

2007 must have been a crazy time to have infrared on the regular. It was still a phase in the Iraq War when the insurgents weren't fully aware of the night-time capabilities of coalition troops, and they often made very easy mistakes that gave away their position and got themselves killed.

This video, which was recorded near Taji, Iraq in 2007, shows an AQI insurgent team operating an anti-aircraft gun against coalition forces. Unfortunately for them, the heat of their weapon system gives them away completely, and allows them to be tracked back to their cold position where they are quickly turned into a memory.
