Unconfirmed footage reportedly shows various clips of 82nd Airborne Division paratroopers operating in Syria as part of Combined Joint Task Force - Operation Inherent Resolve in 2020.

At one point in the video, the paratroopers can be seen dropping 120mm mortars with the aid of a highly accurate mortar fire control system (MFCS). The US troops operate in support of the Kurdish led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) to flush out Islamic State sleeper cells in their areas of operation.
